Given the historic background of Macedonia and the resulting Ohrid agreement it would appear to be particularly important that forms of inter-ethnic, non-violent dialogue in Macedonian society be further developed and that these contribute towards the strengthening of civil society. In order to achieve this, additional school mediation processes, mediation and democratic committees will be implemented. Beginning as early as the elementary school, skills such as team-spirit and willingness to cooperate should be supported as much as communication skills.
